FERA is a Government backed laboratory in York, UK. They test every batch of Manuka honey we produce to check the level of Methylglyoxal (MGO) which relates to the honey’s anti-microbial strength and is the number printed on the front of every pot.
ANALYTICA is an independent laboratory in New Zealand. They test every batch of Manuka honey we produce to ensure it meets the NZ Government’s strict science definition for Manuka honey, often called the MPI Standard. This involves testing for four naturally occurring chemical markers and a DNA test to prove the honey is genuine Manuka from New Zealand.
Every pot of our honey is certified New Zealand Manuka Honey and is independently tested to meet the New Zealand government's definition of Manuka Honey.
With Hives across the north and south islands of New Zealand. All of our Manuka Honey is harvested and packed by us in New Zealand.
High quality Manuka Honey is collected from our own hives and brought to our New Zealand facility. Every pot is packed in New Zealand. Our genuine Manuka Honey can be traced from Hive to Home.
Our MGO Ratings are independently tested in New Zealand and then again in the UK at the FERA labs, ensuring that our Manuka Honey is true to label.
First of all it’s important to remember that Manuka honey is a natural product. We simply pack what nature creates during each New Zealand summer.
